Despite mounting (and mountainous) evidence, Jennifer Lopez has yet to confirm whether she has a Marc Anthony-shaped bun baking in her ever-expanding oven. Still, the currently on-tour twosome seem to be dropping hints through that most subtle of mediums -- the '80s power ballad.Jennifer Lopez performs in Los Angeles on Oct. 19. During a performance Friday night in Los Angeles, Anthony crooned Journey's "Faithfully" to his bulging-bellied but glowing better half, report People and Us.
"I'm going to take a chance and dedicate this to Jennifer," he told the crowd. "It's a real personal song. This song has a whole new significance."
If your memory has faded from when you slow-danced to the ditty under a disco ball in eighth grade, its lyrics are of the baby-it's-lonely-on-the-tour-bus variety.
"They say that the road ain't no place to start a family," the hollow-cheeked singer belted out amid cheers. "Right down the line it's been you and me/And lovin' a music man ain't always what it's supposed to be/Oh girl, you stand by me/I'm forever yours ... faithfully."
While Anthony's serenade to Lopez might not have quite the same impact as Journey's other major pop culture coup this year -- providing the soundtrack for Tony Soprano's final on-screen moment with "Don't Stop Believin'" -- it's yet another clear sign that the stork appears to be on his way.
"This is such a special time," J.Lo told the audience as she paraded around in one muumuu-riffic ensemble after another, which can't conceal her growing midsection, a fact that wasn't lost on fans.
"She's so pregnant!" one concertgoer proclaimed to People upon exiting the show. Added another, "She wasn't moving that much. I'm a mother of three, I know, she's pregnant."
